At Veles Consulting, we believe that giving back to society is a moral imperative and a core value. Established in 2024, our founders were united in the vision that our success should also contribute to shaping a better world. By leveraging our resources, expertise, and networks, we aim to address issues that matter to us and our community.
Our Mission
The Veles Foundation, a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, currently going through registration with the Charities Commission of England and Wales, operates independently from our consulting business. Governed by a diverse board of 7 Trustees, primarily drawn from our Community of Associates, we are dedicated to making a real impact on issues affecting our business sectors, local communities, and stakeholders.
Our Focus Areas
Through extensive research and stakeholder consultations, we identified four key areas where we can make the most significant impact:
Advancement of Education
Advancement of Health
Advancement of Environmental Protection or Improvement
Relief of Those in Need (youth, elderly, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantages)
Our Commitment
Each year, Veles Consulting will commit a minimum of 1% of net profits to the Veles Foundation. As our business grows, so will our contributions. Additional funding comes from grants for specific projects and ad hoc donations and volunteering activities.
How We Make a Difference
We believe in making a social impact through various means:
Giving Money: The Veles Foundation will match donations made by the Veles Community to charities that match our key areas and meet our qualifying criteria.
Giving in Kind:
Pro-Bono Consulting: Offering coaching and mentoring to develop skills and understanding in specific fields.
Expert Speakers: Providing speakers to discuss topics aligned with the Foundation's objectives.
Mentoring and Volunteering Services: Making an immediate and significant impact on local communities.
Giving by Investing: Forming strategic partnerships and creating social investment programs with individual charities or through a fund.
